ALICE IN WONDERLAND 2025
Alice in Wonderland featured 19 characters including some reoccuring display characters. Every character's face (masks or animatronics) were repainted by hand or airbrushed. The original characters in the display: Moolissa the dancing cow, Rolf the frog on the toilet hidden in a log, 2 flies having dinner by candlelight with one that had a purse, lipstick, and pearls as well as a 3 tier talking cake animatronic. The cake animatronic was an original design and was constructed of foam with a battery operated pumpkin painted inside. The queen of hearts had a buzzsaw and hammer for arms (previously the buzzsaw animatronic) and had a mask by ghoulish productions that was repainted and hair was added. The large white rabbit was the deathstalker animatronic that was converted into a white rabbit with layered and sculpted insulation foam and fur. Eyes were also added to that character.
A whopping 80 bins of floral filled the entire display and was gathered and stored over the course of 2 years. The display featured 2 archways in theme, original teacup topiaries (some were 3 tier 7 foot tall stacks), rabbit boxwood topiaries, over 100 feet of garland with floral, a 16 foot driveway gate covered in ivy and skeletons and thousands of led string lights. The floral arrangements alone took about 4 months to complete.
The caterpillar was completely made by hand and an original design. He was controlled by remote and had motion in his body to turn, his arms had motion, and there was also a mechanism which allowed him to blow smoke rings at varies speeds. He was constructed using utility fabric, pool noodles, foam, wire, a garden urn, etc. His eyes also lit up. The body and face were airbrushed by hand.
